As Administrative Assistant, Julia Leonardi is the first point of contact for prospective and current clients, as well as community partners contacting the office. Julia is dedicated to providing a positive experience for callers by answering questions about our services, connecting callers to their therapist, and directing new clients to our Client Care Coordinator. Julia’s role is crucial to ensure that your experience at Therapy Changes is as simple and relaxed as possible.
Julia earned her bachelor’s degree in film and media studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Originally from the Bay Area, she spent her college years in both San Diego and Santa Barbara, ultimately deciding to make Southern California her home. In addition to her passion for film and the arts, Julia is the co-founder of a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness of illicit fentanyl and fake prescription pills. She is passionate about education through harm reduction and reducing the stigma surrounding substance use. Julia believes in creating safe, inclusive spaces where individuals can feel heard, valued, and empowered. With empathy and kindness at the heart of her approach, she strives to foster environments where people can thrive and be supported in their journey toward healing.
Outside of her professional life, Julia enjoys relaxing in coffee shops, playing guitar, and watching reality television shows. Julia is committed to helping people by providing a safe, inclusive environment and hopes to further her career in the mental health space, where she can make a positive impact.
