He has a strong background in working with veterans, including those with combat-related PTSD. Dr. Koch is extremely versed in issues regarding the developmental tasks of early adulthood and helps emerging adults develop confidence within themselves to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives.

Dr. Koch specializes in trauma, childhood abuse, helping clients through difficult life transitions, establishing healthy relationships, as well as depression and anxiety-related concerns. Dr. Koch utilizes Prolonged Exposure (PE) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), which are both evidence-based treatments for PTSD and considered to be the best practices for the reduction of trauma-related symptoms. Dr. Koch specializes in providing couples therapy that is accessible for all partners in romantic relationships, no matter their sexual orientation. Using the techniques of Imago Relationship Therapy, Dr. Koch helps clients become closer to their partners by learning a new way to talk to each other. Imago Relationship Therapy is evidence-based, interactive, and action-oriented.
