My Philosophy and Approach

I am passionate about helping people and committed to improving the lives of my clients. My approach to therapy is providing focused guidance, which relies on trust, responsibility for choices, and freedom to make choices.

I believe that effective psychotherapy requires an interdisciplinary approach that examines the interconnection between biology, psychology, and socio-environmental factors. While I predominantly utilize a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) framework, I am trained in existential therapy, positive psychology, and other action-oriented therapeutic approaches.

What You Will Experience Working With Me

In therapy, you will develop strategies to learn how to connect your mind and body and be present. I focus on the “here-and-now” and invite you to share examples from your life where we can apply the skills that you are learning. I encourage curious and non-judgmental self-exploration to promote healing and restore balance.

I view therapy as a collaborative process in which we work together to establish goals, identify your strengths and challenges, and develop tools to challenge your negative thought patterns and limiting beliefs. Together we will create an individualized plan to enhance your self-compassion, clarify your values, initiate change, and live a full and meaningful life.
