My Philosophy and Approach

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and depth-oriented. I am skilled at helping clients identify the life experiences that may be keeping them stuck and supporting them as they work through these challenges. I provide an affirming space with specialized, trauma-focused care using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). These evidence-based approaches combine values-driven action, mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and the opportunity to process difficult past experiences that may continue to affect the present. I believe that there is a roadmap forward – one that leads to greater self-fulfillment, emotional regulation, and a deeper sense of inner peace.

What You Will Experience Working With Me

Therapy should be tailored to you. I take a strength-based approach that honors your unique personality, values, and life experiences. Within the therapeutic space I focus on providing trauma informed, personalized, and LGBTQ+ affirming care. My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches that integrate both mind and body including mindfulness and nervous system regulation.

Together, we’ll explore what’s contributing to your distress – whether it’s painful thoughts, overwhelming emotions, past trauma, or identity-related challenges – and build the insight and tools needed to help you move forward.

My work often focuses on helping clients manage anxiety, depression, and perfectionism; heal from family dysfunction or trauma; and navigate LGBTQ+ identity development and self-acceptance. Throughout this process, I support clients in strengthening emotional regulation, improving interpersonal relationships, and creating a value-driven life with greater clarity and intention.
