Kelly Anderson, Ph.D. is a licensed Clinical Psychologist in California providing individual, family and group psychotherapy. Her evidence-based approach to therapy utilizes a Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) framework with an emphasis on recovery within one’s own value system. Dr. Anderson works with clients to help them find a balance between understanding their concerns and making changes to live the kind of life they want to live.
Areas of Specialization
Dr. Anderson uses a recovery-oriented approach when working with clients, which focuses on learning how to make changes and overcoming barriers that keep a person from achieving their goals. She has a special interest in treating individuals coping with depression and anxiety.
Additionally, she has expertise in treating clients with psychotic disorders (e.g., schizophrenia, delusions, hallucinations, etc.), Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and substance abuse. Dr. Anderson is dedicated to serving Veterans, their significant others and families for a variety of issues. She has worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds and emphasizes the importance of the individual values and differences of each client and provides treatment that is tailored to each person and his or her needs.
Dr. Anderson provides services in the Point Loma office in San Diego, California.
