Individual Therapy

Individual therapy can guide you through a variety of challenges you may be facing. In addition to accomplishing your stated goals, benefits of participating in therapy include greater maturity as a person, better understanding of your life path and personal values, improved ability to relate to others, greater self-confidence, self-respect, and acceptance.

You and your therapist will work together to:

  • Understand the nature of your problem as it relates to problematic thoughts, behaviors, feelings, or attitudes
  • Create goals and a path of change for you, your family, and your relationships
  • Develop new thoughts, behaviors, feelings, or attitudes that contribute to a different way of relating and interacting with others and your environment
  • Adopt these new ways of being with the support and encouragement that will help you successfully pursue your goals

  • Greater maturity as a person
